Delay after typing a command

If there is a delay after typing a command where nothing seems to happen, it is probably following a command that calls a Word dialog box, or a new code procedure. Word has to load these into memory the first time they're used, and maybe again later if they haven't been used for some time. This can sometimes take a few seconds, especially on older computers.

Nothing happens after typing a command

Word seems sensitive about the caps lock being on. Try turning it off and try again.

^KP doesn't print a marked text block

If the WordStar Command Emulator won't print a marked block you are almost certainly using Word as your email editor within Outlook and trying to print from there. For some reason, Outlook prevents this command from working.

Run-time error 91 after typing a command

If you get a Run-time error 91 after typing a command you are probably using Word as your email editor in Microsoft Outlook and you have tried to type an editing or document navigation command without having an open document. Make sure you have a document open.
