Once installed the WordStar Command Emulator will make Microsoft Word understand many of the WordStar for DOS commands. Apart from these keyboard command changes the use of the program is transparent. Installation of the program is limited to copying it into a special Word folder called StartUp. Full details are provided in the program download, but those details and any updated information is in this Support section.

The WordStar Command Emulator closely replicates over 100 of WordStar for DOS keyboard commands, and in Word versions 97 through XP it also replicates the WordStar pull-down menus.
